Kale Blessum has 10 years of experience instructing and competing in Muay Thai, kickboxing, and boxing. Owner of Viking Muay Thai and owner of Stronghands Gym the first LGBTQ gym in Chicago. Kale has a wealth of knowledge that he incorporates into his training programs.

Kale was 2011 WKA North American Muay Thai Champion, and Bronze Medalist at the 2011 WKA World Championships in Karlsruhe, Germany. He has trained and competed in the US, Europe, Australia, and Thailand.

Before jumping full time into his passion of improving the quality of life of his clients through Muay Thai and fitness instruction, he attempted to improve the quality of life of his constituents as a Director of a nonprofit and in the US Congress.

A functional and non-intimidating approach to training that allows anyone to participate, whether it be those only interested in the fitness and stress relief aspects of training, or those interested in the self-defense and competitive aspects of the sport. All are welcome.
